Transition Poole is a group of like minded volunteers – in common with many transition groups, we try to encourage people to take local action. There is no committee, but below are some individuals who are especially keen to either keep the whole group moving forwards, or to pursue specific projects. Some of these folk are shown below. If you want to share your profile here, contact Andy Hadley.
Andy Hadley – I have been involved with Tatnam Organic Patch since its inception in 1998, and before transition, Poole Agenda 21 (especially transport). Have lots of interests across the agenda, including food growing and energy. Having sorted a number of websites over the years, I created this one, with the help of Dave. Am involved in lots of the Transition projects. Am also the ‘contact’ for Transition Town Poole. I live in Oakdale.
Harriet Stewart-Jones – Keen on networking and getting like-minded people together for support and action (active in FOE, RESULTS UK, PA21, Oakdale film screenings, Poole Sustainable Environment Partnership, Poole Fair Trade, Tatnam Org Patch, Resurgence readers group, Big Green Fortnight). Lots of interests, especially keen to see Turners Field succeed. I am guardian of Transition BH, and live in Parkstone. Day job: freelance book editor.
Gary Finch – I am Chair of Tatnam Organic Patch, a Permaculture design tutor, keen on skip diving, and guerilla gardening.
And there are about 20 other active members of the group, but I need to trap their photos to put up here.
